The Ordinary Caffeine 5% Solution + EGCG Face & Eye Serum is designed to address various concerns around the delicate eye area. This water-based serum contains key ingredients like a high concentration of caffeine with a highly purified epigallocatechin gallatyl glucoside (EGCG) derived from green tea leaves. Caffeine acts as a powerful antioxidant & has anti-inflammatory properties, which helps to reduce puffiness around the eye contour and calms and soothes the delicate skin. Caffeine helps to stimulate the blood flow, which contributes to providing a more youthful and refreshed look, and also promotes collagen and elastin synthesis, aiding in skin firmness and elasticity. It also provides protection to the skin from oxidative stress, which leads to premature aging. EGCG (epigallocatechin gallatyl glucoside) is a bioengineered version of the superstar green tea polyphenol, which has rich antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to retain the moisture for long periods of time. It helps to reduce the dark circles and wrinkle formation around the eye. Being an antioxidant, EGCG helps to reduce radical scavenging activity and the reduction of melanin generation. The Ordinary Caffeine 5% + EGCG is a righteous blend to counteract puffiness and dark circles in the eye contour. This lightweight serum rapidly absorbs into the delicate eye contour to help reduce the appearance of discoloration and alleviate symptoms of fatigue and stress. Skin feels refreshed and lifted with enhanced hydration and a more even tone.
