Stopkof Cough Syrup contains the active ingredients Diphenhydramine hydrochloride and ammonium chloride and is also free from alcohol. Diphenhydramine belongs to a group of medicines called 'antihistamines. It helps to reduce common cold symptoms, such as runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes. It is also used to relieve coughs caused by minor throat or airway irritation. Ammonium chloride can be used as an expectorant due to its irritative action on the bronchial mucosa. This effect causes the production of respiratory tract fluid, which in turn facilitates the effective cough.

• For adults: 5-10 ml every 4 hours or as directed by the physician
