Description:
Scabi 5% Lotion is a topical medication primarily used to treat scabies, a skin condition caused by tiny mites that burrow into the skin, causing intense itching and rashes. The active ingredient, Permethrin (5%), is a synthetic insecticide that kills the scabies mites and their eggs. It is also effective against lice.

Usage:

1. Application:

   • Shake the bottle well before use.

   • Apply the lotion evenly over the entire body, from the neck down, paying special attention to folds and creases (e.g., between fingers, underarms, groin).

   • Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

   • Leave the lotion on for 8-14 hours, then wash it off thoroughly with soap and water.

2. Dosage:

   • Typically, a single application is sufficient. However, a second application may be recommended after 7-14 days if necessary.

3. Precautions:

   • Do not use on broken or inflamed skin.

   • Wash all clothing, bedding, and towels in hot water to prevent reinfestation.

   • Avoid close physical contact with others until the treatment is complete.

4. Side Effects:

   • Mild burning, stinging, or itching may occur. If severe irritation or allergic reactions (e.g., rash, swelling) develop, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
