The strip detects the hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) hormone that appears in the urine of a pregnant woman from the first days of conception. Though hCG levels are very low at first, the level rises rapidly and predictably in the first weeks of pregnancy. HOW TO USE
- Remove the test device from its wrapper and place it on a clean, level surface
- Bring the urine sample to room temperature. Fill the dropper with the urine, hold the dropper vertically and dispense the dropwise above the sample
- Add precisely 3 drops (avoid air bubbles) of urine into the sample as well.
- As the urine is absorbed, you should see a pink color moving across the window. At exactly 3 minutes, read the result in the result window. A positive could appear in the result window in less than 3 minutes, but the full 3 minutes is required to confirm a negative result. Do not read the result after 5 minutes.
