With UV filters it provides protection from a broad spectrum of UV radiation. This formula is composed of Multi-patented Melasyl, which has a new and unique mechanism of action. It intercepts excess Melanin before it marks the skin. Melasyl proved a superior anti-pigmentation efficacy versus 5 referent actives. It also contains 5% Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide), which is known for its ability to soothe the skin, strengthen the skin barrier, and correct dark spots. It reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and even stubborn dark spots to reveal a brighter, more even complexion. Micro-inflammation is the common trigger for every pigmentary disorder and leads to an overproduction of melanin. Niacinamide is a powerhouse ingredient that helps fade hyperpigmentation but also helps repair the skin barrier. This formula is also enriched with La Roche-Posay thermal spring water, which has skin-soothing benefits for visibly more even skin tone, while also being safe for all skin colors and types.
