Eucerin s new AtopiControl Acute Care Cream breaks the vicious circle of itchy flare-ups with soothing care. Its skin-caring properties help reduce the use of hydrocortisone during flare-ups. AtopiControl Acute Care Cream is not a pharmaceutical product and is not meant to replace one. Apply as often as needed on the affected areas for intensive care to calm and soothe skin. Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream is a unique complex that includes regenerating Omega-6 fatty acids (Evening Primrose Oil and Grape Seed Oil), soothing Licochalcone A (an extract from the licorice root), anti-bacterial Decandiol, and cooling Menthoxypropanediol. It has been clinically and dermatologically proven for compatibility on atopic skin in adults, children, and babies from the age of 3 months. A clinical study shows a comparable cosmetic effect of the skin-caring properties of AtopiControl Acute Care Cream to the effects of a 1% hydrocortisone cream on the complexion of atopic skin. To minimize the risk of skin irritation and allergies, it is cortisone-free, fragrance-free, colorant-free, and paraben-free. Beauty doesn t have to be complicated. It just needs to work. After all, your skin is the body s largest organ, and it deserves good care, too. That s why Eucerin is trusted by dermatologists, recommended by pharmacists, and loved by consumers worldwide as the brand that delivers healthy, beautiful skin for everyone. • Lifestyle changes that can relieve eczema symptoms: Moisturize after bathing and when your skin feels dry. Choose fragrance-free skin care products. Test all skin care products before using them. Take short baths or showers to hydrate your skin. Limit your bath to 5-10 minutes and use warm water. When you apply your moisturizer while your skin is still damp after bathing, this helps to lock in the moisture. Skin with AD is very sensitive, so many everyday things can cause a flare-up. Finding what triggers your (or your child s) flare-ups and avoiding them can help reduce flare-ups. Wear loose-fitting 100% cotton clothing. Wash clothing in detergent that is fragrance-free and dye-free. Protect your skin from extreme temperatures.
